Complex Dialogues with Bryan Stevenson

BRYAN STEVENSON, author of Just Mercy, is the founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. Mr. Stevenson is a widely acclaimed public interest lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping the poor, the incarcerated and the condemned. Under his leadership, EJI has won major legal challenges. Mr. Stevenson is also a Professor of Law at the New York University School of Law.

This community forum is the university's second statewide convening of leaders for a discussion of Oklahoma's criminal justice system and our state's needs for reform. OC first partnered with GKFF in 2010 to bring together statewide leaders to discuss Oklahoma's high rate of female incarceration.
