As a dynamic blues performer, Garrett “Big G” Jacobson has been satisfying audiences for more than 20 years. He got his professional start at the age of twelve as a guitarist with Oklahoma bluesman D.C. Minner. Within two years Garrett had formed his own band, recorded his first album, and begun performing at numerous clubs and festivals throughout Oklahoma. Since 1998, he has released five albums and performed continuously throughout Oklahoma and surrounding areas. His recordings have received critical praise in national and regional publications such as Living Blues, Blues Revue, Blues Blast, and Southwest Blues. Garrett and his band have performed at notable venues across the country such as Buddy Guy's Legends, The Chicago Blues Festival, The Grand Emporium, and B.B. King's Blues Club. He has also performed with blues greats such as Jimmy Johnson, Carl Weathersby, and Smokey Wilson.
