Arcadia Round Barn

Edmond Attractions, Meetings & Route 66

This famous bright red Route 66 landmark is located 6 miles east of Edmond in Arcadia. Built in 1898, the barn is 60 feet across, 45 feet and two stories tall.

The structure was designed with the notion that being round would help it withstand Oklahoma's tornadic conditions. It is the only true round barn on Route 66. William H. Odor built the structure in 1898. When his neighbors said it was impossible to build a round barn, Odor proved them wrong.

The Round Barn is open 10 to 5 p.m. daily. with free admission. The upstairs loft and outdoor space are available to rent for special events. For more information on rentals, contact rentals@arcadiaroundbarn.com.

Less than a mile away from Pops, these two stops are the perfect way to spend your morning or afternoon.
