Sunny Dayz brings in 15 Public Art Pieces

The 2nd annual Sunny Dayz Mural Festival occurred this past weekend, August 6th. Sunny Dayz is the only mural festival of its kind, with only female artists. This year, 42 artists from across the country and around the world brought 31 new murals to life in Downtown Edmond. Of the 31 murals, 15 were purchased by the City of Edmond's Visual Arts Commission. Before the mural festival, Edmond was home to 285 pieces of public art and now there are 300 pieces of walkable public art throughout the community.
