Come join International Acoustic Music Award Winner, Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road, for a fun evening of fiery fiddling, bountiful hors d'oeuvres and a chance to win a 43" TV! "I've never seen anything like this before!" -Roy Clark, Country Music Hall of Fame.Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road have been selected to participate in the 2018-2019 American Music Abroad season, organized by The U.S. Department of States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and The Association of American Voices, with a tour through Kosovo and Kuwait this spring. They were chosen as one of fifteen ensembles, standing out in an applicant pool of nearly 300 bands. We are so excited that we've been accepted to participate in the upcoming AMA tour season! Having already performed in 37 countries, we look forward to this opportunity to take country music, once again, to new frontiers, Dillingham said. Whether at home or abroad, we have an important opportunity everyday to change peoples lives with our music.  "Ken Burns and I travel all over the United States. After hearing your performance, we turned to each other and agreed that we had witnessed something amazing."  -Paula Kerger, President of PBS.Kyle Dillingham: 2017 405 Magazine Best of OKC Award - Best Musician and Ambassador who makes you proud to be an Oklahoman. 2016 405 Magazine Best of OKC - Best Local Musician! 2013 & 2014 Slice Magazine Best of the City - Best Performing Artist!Horseshoe Road:  2017 Oklahoma Magazine Best of the Best for Local Band (listed 2nd, only after The Flaming Lips!) 2016 Oklahoma Gazette Music Awards - Best Americana/Folk Band! 2014 Slice Magazine Best of the City - Best Local Band. 2011 International Acoustic Music Award winner! With an eclectic musical style ranging from Blues to Bluegrass, Gypsy Jazz to Western Swing, Country, Rock and Gospel, Horseshoe Road blends them into an earthy genre of music they call Heartland Americana. Full of surprises, the group's passion for music can be seen in their performance. "Last year, we had the chance to perform for Charley Pride in his dressing room at the Grand Ole Opry and hang out with Blake Shelton and others backstage," said Dillingham. "We were also invited by legendary fashion designer, Manuel Cuevas, to perform at his signature boutique, Manuel American Designs, after our CMA Fest performance. He has been attributed as being the man who put Johnny Cash in black and outfitting such legends as Elvis, Dylan and the Rolling Stones and we'll be wearing original Manuel outfits at the concert, as well."For more information about Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road: www.horseshoeroad.net."From Bob Wills to our original Americana-flavored new songs, get ready for a high energy, uplifting musical experience," said Kyle. "We've performed for kings and princesses, and were ready to bring that same passion to all our loyal fans in the most beautiful venue in the state."In 2017, Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road completed a two-week Silk Road and the Fiddle tour in China representing Oklahoma with a musical celebration of sister-state/city relations and cultural performances. "We were the first ever Americana/Country band to perform in the region of Gansu Province where we toured," Kyle said. "We were also one of only four to be granted a meeting with Gansu Governor, Tang Renjian, representing our state with a letter from Governor Mary Fallin. Governor Tang gave us a hearty two thumbs up for his first ever personal serenade we gave him during our official meeting!"2017 marked the 32nd anniversary of the sister-statehood between Gansu Province and Oklahoma. Dunhuang, one of the cities in the province they toured, once served as the meeting point of the East and the West along the ancient Silk Road. They were proud to represent the United States at the International Expo that was also attended by around 40 ministry-level lead delegations.Qingyang was another city on their tour where they represented the sister-city of Edmond. "We presented their mayor with gifts from Edmond Mayor Charles Lamb and were greeted like we were the Beatles - it was crazy," Kyle said. "They loved us so much that they've invited us back for a full concert tour and we've even been asked to write a Qingyang folk song in Chinese and English."In 2014, Kyle and Horseshoe Road completed a 16-day tour through Liberia, which included a performance for the president of Liberia. 2015 began with a fiery performance at the Oklahoma Governor's Inaugural Ball. Opening for the Oak Ridge Boys was one of the many highlights of 2012, as well as the Charlie Daniels Band in 2013. Kyle and Horseshoe Road were selected by the U.S. State Department for a month-long world tour through Taiwan, South Korea, Burma and Russia as part of their American Music Abroad program. Out of 300 bands nationwide, Horseshoe Road was one of 12 chosen for the 2012-2013 season. In 2008, Horseshoe Road completed a U.S. Embassy sponsored tour of Thailand, which commemorated the 175th anniversary of relations between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Thailand. It was the first time an American band had ever performed in four of the five cities they toured. They celebrated Oklahoma's centennial internationally through their performances with a tour of Japan and Thailand. They also filmed a documentary of this tour as an official OK Centennial Project, and performed 32 shows at the 2000 Oklahoma State Fair Centennial Expo at the Oklahoman Stage. While still in high school, Kyle was featured with Roy Clark and twice on Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. He later toured with western-swing legend, Hank Thompson. He has performed for the King of Malaysia, the Princess of Thailand, Singapore's National Day Celebration, and his performance at the Beijing Central Conservatory was broadcast on Chinese national television. A frequent visitor to Washington D.C, he has performed for the Japanese, Thai and Saudi Arabian Ambassadors, to name a few. Kyle has taken his music to over 30 countries earning him the title of "Oklahoma's Musical Ambassador." Kyle is also an Oklahoma Creativity Ambassador and was a 2009 recipient of the Oklahoma Governor's Art's Award. He works as the Musical Ambassador in Residence at the University of Central Oklahoma, using his "musical diplomacy" to help develop and strengthen new overseas partnerships for the university.

The band gained firsthand experience in this idiom in 2016 when they were tapped by legendary director Clint Eastwood to score his box office hit “Sully”.Inspired by the powerful combination of music and film, The Tierney Sutton Band returned to the studio and 19 tracks were born, all with the trademark attention to detail that has resulted in a time-tested and proven musical result. “In a sense this is the most organic project we've ever done”, says Sutton. The arrangements and Sutton's readings of the songs are pure Tierney Sutton Band at the height of its powers, subtly illuminating and revolutionizing each classic. The Tierney Sutton Band has chosen to present this creative, new music in a creative, new way. 5 acts, each including 3 to 5 songs, will be released as a digital EP, once a month, beginning in February of 2019. A podcast and other behind-the-scenes material that explore these classic songs and the films that made them so iconic will accompany each of these acts. In June of 2019, a compilation ScreenPlay CD will be released worldwide.

She will be challenged to make choices that will affect her life and the people around her.Dayna lives in rural Oklahoma and has a love for the Lord, her family, the outdoors and animals, especially her horses and her Boxer named Brewster. They’ve each stopped off to the land of “funk,” and laid bare their “soul” more times than can be counted. Equilibrium has sweated it out in a garage to make their harmonious echo and sharpened their musical consciousness in the discipline of Jazz. Using the sensual sounds of a seashell to compel their listeners, Equilibrium always seems to know how to satisfy their audience. Equilibrium is a union of hard-won experience with the simple desire to make people enjoy their story through the medium of music, the deepest expression of the human experience. Two of the members teach at the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma and share their love for music with their students every day. Equilibrium is filled with diverse influences and talents with a common goal: challenging themselves to make music they love, and bring the audience on the journey with them. Jazz enriched but with a firm pop sensibility, Equilibrium makes heads turn by staying true to their soul/rock roots. They have opened for Ian Moore, Monte Montgomery, Johnny A., Morris Day, The Time, and the legendary B.B. King. They also closed the 2011 Edmond Jazz Festival in Edmond, OK, and were awarded the Oklahoma Gazette’s reader-voted “Woody” award for Best Jazz Band in 2009. Equilibrium is truly ear candy for the urbane soul. https://www.facebook.com/equilibriumlive/info

Performing Songs from her new album: Sacred Places. $15 Cash/Check · Doors at 6:15 *Cash Bar (not food service)* Call (405)974-2100 to reserve seats. Classical contemporary in genre, the piano compositions of Holly Jones are described as meditative, impressionistic, thematic, yet transcendent of time and space.  Holly will be featuring fresh compositions from her fourth album, "Sacred Places," set to be released May, 2019, at the UCO Jazz Lab June 6, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.  Holly describes her inspiration of "Sacred Places":  "A 'sacred place' is the moment in time when one recognizes they are participating in something greater than themselves. This can happen anywhere...in daily conversation, our 'work', and what otherwise might be misperceived as a mundane aspect of life.  We have to look for these sacred places.  They give  us  the  richness and  authenticity of  our experiences." Born in western Kentucky, Holly began studying violin at age three, piano at eight, and creating compositions on the piano by nine.  Her training includes many years of private study, as well as private classical piano and composition study at Indiana University.   Holly's solo piano debut album, "Traveler" was released in 2003.  Her second album "Storyteller" was released in 2016, followed by the orchestrated version of "Storyteller" in 2017, by Ludek Drizhal, featuring Holly at the piano and the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra. As a physical therapist, Holly has an inherent understanding of the healing power of music, and enjoys the art of creating pieces that are "good for the neurology."  She lives with her husband, dear Fred, and beloved doggy daughter, Darbie,  in Edmond, OK and loves playing in StudioJones, the self-proclaimed "best practice room in the world." "I wish for my music to reach the truth in each person listening...to help them take pause in the busyness of life and to bring them peace and clarity. I envision that it is most likely played as background music...it provides a setting of peace...but when one listens closer, it can 'take them away'...and always to the best place..."

This multitalented musician is bringing new flavor to the music scene with his blend of traditional and smooth jazz peppered with a dash of gospel. Although a native of New Orleans, Jackson’s musical talent was infused with gospel and R&B while growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and performing at his father’s church. The encouragement he received from this large congregation helped him hone his skills as a musician and composer while performing on keyboards, piano, drums, bass, guitar and, of course, the saxophone. Jackson’s influences also stemmed from the soulful jazz style of legends he’s admired such as: David Sanborn, Grover Washington, Jr. and Dexter Gordon. Named El-Jack by his fans, Jackson has opened for or shared festival stages with a talented cross-section of urban jazz and R&B greats: Wayman Tisdale, Najee, Howard Hewett, Jeffrey Osborne, Angela Winbush, Stanley Jordan, Dru Hill, Shirley Murdock, SOS Band, Con-Funk-Shun, Tom Braxton and fellow Tulsans Charlie Wilson and The GAP Band. Recently he performed on the national Soul Food Festival Tour, bringing his trademark sound and sultry spontaneity to audiences as the sole instrumentalist on a bill with R&B legends Peabo Bryson and The Whispers. The tour made stops in Jacksonville, Kansas City, Baton Rouge and Nashville. Jackson enjoys sharing his unique style with jazz fans throughout the country. Recently he gigged at the Long Beach Jazz Festival, the Red Cat Jazz Café in Houston, the Brooklyn Jazz Café in Dallas, Humphreys in San Diego and Blues Alley in D.C. In Oklahoma, Jackson is well known for his regular gigs at Tulsa hotspots, and his Winelight Jazz shows along with headlining at casinos such as River Spirit, Hard Rock, Osage Million Dollar Elm and RiverWind. He’s also a huge draw at Mayfest, Tulsa’s largest outdoor festival. The heavy gigging saxophonist has exhilarated audiences at nearly every jazz event in Oklahoma including The Charlie Christian Jazz Festival and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame Jazz Fest. One of the highlights of his career was collaborating with the late great Wayman Tisdale on his debut album. The duo had been friends since middle school and watched each other develop musically over the years. One summer when Tisdale was between seasons in the NBA, he sat in with Jackson’s band at the local Greenwood Jazz Festival, and by 2008 their friendship had come full circle with the release of Listening Pleasure. Unfortunately the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of famer Wayman Tisdale passed away shortly after the official release of the album. But his protégé continues to keep his spirit alive by paying tribute to his jazz contributions and their friendship during every live performance.

The musical spawned a hit film featuring Madonna and features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including “Don't Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “High Flying, Adored.”

Edgar Cruz is Oklahoma's multi-genre, award winning solo guitarist performing an average of 200 times a year. Those who have witnessed Cruz's performance immediately become entranced at the precision, speed and complexity with which his fingers strike the strings of his guitar to create a symphony of sound unusual to just one instrument. He just celebrated his 40th year of playing with 18 CDs and two DVDs. He also performs with The Brave Amigos which adds two more of Oklahoma's finest musicians on vocals and guitars. He just released his second Beatles CD. Highlighting 1964-1966 songs...I Feel Fine, Eight Days A Week, Daytripper*, Yesterday, We Can Work it Out, Ticket to Ride*, Drive My Car, Michelle, Norwegian Wood, In My Life, Here, There & Everywhere, Eleanor Rigby, Got To Get You Into My Life and more. All steel string and two 12 String* recordings. This is the follow up to 'Cruzin the Beatles' ('62-'64).

Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, EVITA tells Eva Peron's passionate and unforgettable meteoric rise from the slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as First Lady. Adored by her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most powerful women in the world - while her greed, outsized ambition and fragile health made her one of the most tragic. The musical spawned a hit film featuring Madonna and features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including “Don't Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “High Flying, Adored.”

The Faith Family Friends Race was started in 2014 in the loving memory of Wyatt & Shilpa Abbitt's son, Austin Abbitt. Running brings people and communities together and this race does just that by encouraging runners and walkers to participate in the memory or honor of loved ones. The race starts out with a balloon release that is fun for all ages as they write notes on the balloons to their angels. This year we are working with Big A Charitable Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to help fund Cancer Research & Child Life Services. The Big A Charitable fund was started in Austin's memory and is focused on raising funds for child-life services and cancer research.
