This summer kicks off with Oklahoma’s Route 66 Birthday Bash on May 30—a can’t-miss celebration of the iconic highway gathering for a spell at Edmond History Museum where tourists can enjoy our beautiful “central park”. Then on June 18, the National Centennial Caravan rolls through Edmond, bringing history to life along the Mother Road where you are invited to cheer them on at the corner of 2nd and Broadway at Sunnyside Diner.
Outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to the Route 66 Beach Sprint Rowing Festival at Arcadia Lake on August 28–29, while patriotic traditions shine during LibertyFest (June 29–July 4).
