LibertyFest in Edmond is just around the corner, and the Fourth of July falls on a Friday this year, making it the perfect excuse for an extended getaway! 

If you've never experienced LibertyFest, you're in for a treat. It's a multi-day celebration packed with classic American fun since 1972. The fun kicks off in June and culminates with a fun run on July 5th.  

Your LibertyFest Itinerary 

LibertyFest kicks off well before the 4th, giving you ample opportunity to join in the festivities. Find the official itinerary, but here's a sneak peek of what you can expect: 

  • Concert in the Park – June 26, 7:30 PM, UCO campus adjacent to Mitchell Hall. Enjoy an evening of music under the stars. 

  • Rodeo – June 27 & 28, 8 PM, Carl Benne Arena (300 N. Kelly Road). Thrilling bull riding, roping & more. 

  • Car Show & ParkFest + Liberty JazzFest – June 28, 8 AM–12 PM, Hafer Park. Classic cars, live jazz, vendors & family fun . 

  • Patriotic Trivia Night – July 2. Fun for trivia buffs. 

  • Patriotic Radio Show – July 3. Celebrate with vintage tunes. 

  • Songs & Stripes: Big Band Show – July 3, 5–8 PM, Edmond History Museum (431 S Boulevard). Enjoy 1940s USO-style entertainment. 

  • Patriotic Parade – July 4, 9 AM, Downtown Edmond. Over 50,000 spectators line the 1.5‑mile route. 

  • Fireworks – July 4, 9:30 PM, E.C. Hafer Park (1034 S. Bryant). Edmond’s biggest and best fireworks show . 

  • LibertySprint 5K/1‑mile Fun Run – July 5, 8 AM, Mitch Park (1501 W Covell Road). Family-friendly and dog-friendly.
