LibertyFest in Edmond is just around the corner, and the Fourth of July falls on a Friday this year, making it the perfect excuse for an extended getaway!
If you've never experienced LibertyFest, you're in for a treat. It's a multi-day celebration packed with classic American fun since 1972. The fun kicks off in June and culminates with a fun run on July 5th.

Songs & Stripes: Big Band Show – July 3, 5–8 PM, Edmond History Museum (431 S Boulevard). Enjoy 1940s USO-style entertainment.

Patriotic Parade – July 4, 9 AM, Downtown Edmond. Over 50,000 spectators line the 1.5‑mile route.

Fireworks – July 4, 9:30 PM, E.C. Hafer Park (1034 S. Bryant). Edmond’s biggest and best fireworks show .

LibertySprint 5K/1‑mile Fun Run – July 5, 8 AM, Mitch Park (1501 W Covell Road). Family-friendly and dog-friendly.
